What happens during sex with bacterial vaginosis?

why does the internet say that bacterial vaginosis is more apparent during intercourse? how is it more apparent? does it get all over the place? does the discharge dry out? what are the symptoms?
Bacterial Vaginosis is just an overgrowth of the normal bacteria in the vagina. It is usually only treated when it causes symptoms. It is more common after sex because semen, lubricant and others things that might be used during sex can throw off the bacteral balance in the vagina. Symptoms of BV are a thin grey discharge that smells fishy.
Does bacterial vaginosis ever clear up on its own or is medication always necessary?
I have some pretty serious side effects on antibiotics and I am scared to take them..Also, what are some reasons that a woman would have multiple periods in one month? I have had like six in the last two months!!! Not full periods everytime but more than a little spotting.

Well to answer ur first question it can clear up on its own however its strongly reccomended that you take an antibiotic to make sureit all gets cleared up and u dont have any complications. Also no its def. not normal to have 6 periods in two months of 3 in one. You need to go and get that cheked out. If ur not on birth control already maybe u should consider it to help regulate ur period.
